Design:
10/10, this design is simply very attractive. The vibrant colors are something that people notice right away even from across the room. I've had both spring yellow and mysterious green and both of them were fun to show off. Fits perfectly in your hand and you can pretty much do everything with 1 hand. Nice strong design and slider is sturdy. If you are a person who drops their phone a lot, no problems here, the S500i won't damage easily. The light effects are brilliant and you can change the look anytime you want! Great for when you're going out.
Performance:
Never had any kind of software issue here, and the standard Java OS works like a charm. Keeps all your files organized and easy to access. If you have ever used an SE before you know that the menus are great to use and give you a lot of little things such as catergories, move or copy options that come in handy and make it easy to use.
Improvements:
I tried to think of what I would like to see different or any problems, but not too much come to mind. Maybe have a larger capacity battery, but you can counter that by putting brightness lower or change display settings, usually lasted 2 days with heavy use.
Overall:
I think this is a very good looking for and has all standard features (bluetooth, calendar, alarm clock etc) so that any regular cell phone user has what they need with out any complicated menus. Great job once again SE.

This would be the perfect mobile, very slick looking, great interface, and good features. I would have given this phone a 10 but there seems to be a re occuring problem with it. After a few weeks of regular usage half of the buttons are starting to crack. My friends warned me this would happen saying that it happened to their s500i to, but I didn't believe them, now its happening to me! So out of 4 people's s500i, everyone of them has cracked buttons.
